Dr. Nathan Mellor

Dr. Nathan Mellor, President - Strata Leadership, LLC Dr. Nathan Mellor is passionate about helping people succeed. A popular speaker who uses humor and storytelling to reinforce key leadership concepts, Dr. Mellor speaks an average of 150 times per year throughout America and abroad. Mellor is the president of Strata Leadership, LLC and Character First. Character First provides character based training and resources to approximately 400,000 individuals each month throughout the United States and in 28 countries.

Dr. Mellor holds the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Master of Science in Education (MSE) degrees from Harding University. He earned the Master of Dispute Resolution (MDR) degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law - Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and the Doctor of Education (EDD) in Organizational Leadership degree from Pepperdine University. He has completed continuing education courses through the Harvard School of Law Program on Negotiation and was named a Summer Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody Professional Institute for Higher Education Management in 2008

Dr. Mellor has provided consulting and training services for companies and organizations such as: American Airlines, Boulder County Sheriff's Office, California State University System, CoorsTek, Devon Energy, Edward Jones, Jasco Inc., Kimray, Inc., Lexis-Nexus, Nationwide Insurance, Oklahoma City Police Department, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma Realtors Association, Oklahoma State University, ResCare, Sandridge Energy, Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Juvenile Justice Association, University of Texas El Paso, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Virginia Department of Social Services and many others. Programs co-led by Dr. Mellor (Peace through Business Rwanda and the Four Star Debate - Developing Leaders with General Tommy Franks) have been showcased on CNN Inside Africa, FOX News and FOX Radio. He currently teaches MBA courses at Oklahoma Christian University in Ethics, Leadership (for leaders, managers and entrepreneurs) and Non-Profit Leadership.

Dr. Mellor serves on the boards of the Academy of Leadership & Liberty , Wishing Well and the 111 Project. He and his Christie were married in 1997 and have two daughters, Annalise and Arden.
