Jim Miller is a senior consultant with Strata Leadership, LLC and specializes in corporate, student and non-profit board leadership development. He is an assistant professor of communication at Harding University, in Searcy Arkansas, where he teaches courses in mass media and public speaking. He and his wife Sara have two children.

Miller holds an undergraduate degree in Bible and Religion (1997) and the Master of Education degree (1999) from Harding University. He earned the Ph.D. in Communication and Information (2008) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. His research interests include media law and ethics. In addition to his role on Harding's faculty, Dr. Miller mentors student leaders as a sponsor of the university's student government.

Dr. Miller wrote for the metro and business sections of the Knoxville News Sentinel for three years, and he continues to write freelance and advise on editorial boards in Arkansas. He has served as a part-time preaching minister at churches in Arkansas and Tennessee since 1995.
