Church Leadership

Over the past several decades great strides have been made in providing ministers practical ministry training. In addition, a growing list of resources has been made available to elders seeking to improve their leadership skills. Another group we believe could benefit greatly from leadership training are Deacons/Ministry Leaders and Key Volunteers. In our discussions with church leaders, a common theme often emerges wherein ministers and elders express feelings of concern about their inability to minister (preach/teach/study/prayer) effectively to their church community due to the sheer amount of time invested in non-ministry needs.

Interestingly, this organizational issue is strikingly similar to the concern expressed by church leaders in the earliest days of the Church. To address this issue in the past, churches asked church members to assist in the daily operations of the Church so the church leaders could stay focused.  In addition to our leadership development training programs, Strata also provides practical services such as dispute resolution and church health consultations.
